
About Founder
Nthateng S is a South African born photographer, videographer, entertainment writer/blogger and content creator. In 2011, she attained a Certificate for Media Consultancy at Boston City Campus & Business College; 2012 she furthered her studies at Boston Media House where she graduated in 2015 and attained a Diploma for Media Practices; and in 2016 she completed a short course for TV & Film Production at "T3" Training and attained a Certificate. Business And Arts South Africa (BASA) Debut Programme Class Of 2021 Graduate.

Nthateng has contributed as a writer for the Winterveldt News in 2015. She was a Production Assistant at Plank Productions for a Cadbury advert ("5 Star" chocolate) in 2016, Johannesburg. In inclusion to her work experience, Nthateng worked for The Feather Awards, The Thami Dish Foundation, Global LGBTIQ+ Network Conference and Feathers Festival as a photographer and social media assistant. In addition to events, she has participated as a photographer at The Winnie Mandela Concert in 2019, and The Gauteng Community Safety Awards (SAPS/JMPD) in 2019.
In November 2018 Nthateng was interviewed by Faith Mangope on Power FM on topic, "Public displays of affection: The politics of being Queer in front of other humans." A booklet was published by The Gauteng Community Safety (SAPS/JMPD) in 2019 containing photographs shot by her. The Star newspaper credited her for a photograph she took at The Global LGBTIQ+ Network Conference.

She has photographed the likes of Former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi; Rorisang Thandekiso; Amstel Diva; Thami Dish; Buhle Mda; Tamera Dey; Busiswa, Somizi and more. Nthateng was the official photographer for The 13th Annual Feather Awards 2021.
Early 2021 she started her own small media and photography company called PLAKA Media. Nthateng is selected as one of the Top 25 participants for The Business And Arts South Africa (BASA) Programme for 2022.
